Featuring Camille Allérat, Xenia Puskarz Thomas and Julie Roset, the ensemble La Néréide explores Baroque music for three equal voices. Often written for young women who were kept apart from society, this repertoire nevertheless demanded virtuosity, musicality and a high degree of instrumental mastery. Today, the three singers are committed to bringing these once-invisible, silenced and sometimes forgotten voices back into the light.

 

Specialising in 17th- and 18th-century music, Julie, Xenia and Camille also seek to explore the later repertoire for equal voices, extending their work all the way to contemporary works written specifically for them.

Invited to some of Europe’s most prestigious festivals, including Musikfest Bremen, the Oude Muziek Utrecht Festival, Tage Alter Musik Regensburg, the Ambronay Festival and Musicales en Normandie, the trio has released two critically acclaimed albums: Luzzaschi, Il concerto segreto in 2023 (Ricercar), followed by Le cœur et la raison in 2025 (Alpha Classics).

Since its founding in 2019, initially with Portuguese soprano Ana Vieira Leite, the ensemble La Néréide has regularly collaborated with a wide range of musicians, as well as with established ensembles, depending on the programme. These collaborations reflect a commitment to artistic discovery, cross-disciplinary exchange and mutual creative inspiration.
